Ok, but not for me...

The Eagle is ok. Staff has always been very friendly. Drinks are affordable. Unfortunately, every time I show up there it is almost empty ! Terasse is very nice during the day and evening. Music is (usually) much more diversified than in any other gay bars of the Village. Yup ! You can actually hear rock here and there: Quite a change from the other bars. It is ok if you are into "serious" leather, S&M and al. scene. As for me, I always found that bar quite boring and empty (Except during happy hour). Perhaps am not going during the "good" hours.

I picked a good time...

First trip to Montreal, and I ended up purchasing some leather (also a first for me). Me and my woofy friend wore the stuff under our clothes as we had no idea what to expect. Within 1 minute of walking in we were shirtless! haha It must have been a special event (Friday 5/13?) because everyone was sporting the harnesses, boots, etc. It was also very busy and the atmosphere couldn't have been any more erotic or exciting! Me and my FWB had a SERIOUSLY good time in the spanking room they had set up. It was pretty nutty and I've been to some crazy bars! I really enjoyed it and am now hooked. We went back the next night ready to rip our shirts off again and realized that Friday must have been "special" because it was very laid back and nobody had leather stuff on. Weird. Still fun though. Thanks to L'Aigle Noir for an awesome introduction into the leather world!

Hang out on the street patio for drinks and enjoy the crowd going down the street. Fun and Friendly!

Quiet on Sundays

We ended up here on Sunday night and it wasn't terribly busy. They actually closed of the upstairs right after we arrived. The space is amazing and the staff was very friendly. I would love to go back on a "happening" night, but was impressed regardless.

Not my favorite one but the music is really good

Most customers are bear, leather or jeans, but it is not a bad thing. That's only the clients' profile. The music is really good. You can listen to rock, punk, electronica and pop! Good for me! Great place for either talking or cruising.
