What a bunch of fucking assholes...

I walked in and sat at the bar early one Saturday evening shortly after dinner waiting for another three of my friends to show up, it took fifteen minutes and me yelling "HEY" at the bartender because he was too busy speaking to his friends to be bothered to do his job. Arrogant, hipster, tattooed pricks behind the bar that deliver attitude as though you should pay to look at them because they have hoola hoops through their ear lobes and are under 30. Nothing like it used to be. Lose the name Eagle/Aigle and replace it with "French Bastard" or "Pretentious Asshole Bar" (en Francais bien sur) it would be much more accurate. Stay away if you're a leather or fetish enthusiast this is not an Eagle Bar anymore.

Leather-not

Okay bartender Steve was sexy. that was the end of the experience, it's not an "Eagle" bar, it feel outa place in chaps and leathers. The windows onto Rue Ste-Catherine are huge and whole place is way too bright, name yeas leather no. Stud is better marginally

Stay away from this place if you are a tourist

I went to have a beer with a friend, who was visiting from Swden and likes this type of bars and probably I will never go back. The bartenders are rude and arrogant, even more so if you are a tourist. We were taken aback by the level of hostility of one of the bartenders when we ordered a second round of beers in English...then he was making fun of us with other bartenders and some clients because of our conversation in German..to which my friend (who speaks five languages and works as an interpreter at the European Union in Brussels) replied in perfect French and ask the guy to stop being so fucking obnoxious...we left immediately...no tip...never comig back
