***** It's HUGE

3 floors, many different dance floors, a pool, and a hot tub on the roof. I went in the pool ( wore swim trunks, took shoes off ) with some friends, had so much fun. Drinks are dirt cheap (I'm from Edmonton though). Met lots of great people, everyone spoke french and english, so ordering was easy... though no one knew what a Vodka Slime was (they gave me a shot of vodka with a slice of lime). Will go back with my bf one day next summer.

***** My favorite gay bar in Montreal

Why do I like Sky Pub? I like it, for the happy hour on weekends are a good opportunity for talking with friends in a nice atmosphere. Most customers are French-Canadians, but the employees give customer service in both French and English. There is a special price for the draft beer from 5 to 7 pm i.e. 2 for 1.

Sky Pub is HUGE! The best happy hour in the gay village. 1st Floor: Pub with happy hour. Be sure to sit inside in front of the huge garage doors that open, as the outside terrace they charge more for the beer. Next door to the pub, they also have a small restaurant. I have never eaten there. Will keep you posted. Sunday night is the best, as happy hour turns into a big fun tea dance. 2nd Floor: A big dance club. Open nights. Usually a cover charge. 3rd Floor: Massive Roof deck w/ pool. A fun place on a hot night. ;-)

***** Can't miss...
First to Review - September 21, 2006
Definitely a can't miss bar -- rather series of bars and dance clubs with a rooftop pool to boot. The downstairs bar is a nice casual area (don't go there Sunday evenings and Mondays are slow too) followed by two dance clubs with different kinds of music on the succeeding floors. The rooftop deck/pool is definitely worth checking out especially on a friday or saturday night. This is a happening place -- nice younger crowd.
