Montreal's Pride, officially Fiertés Montréal, is one of the largest Pride celebrations in Canada. Over 3 million people attend the week's events. These events include cultural panels, shows and parties, and of course, the Parade.
Montreal Pride has been praised for spotlighting the voices and work of BIPOC and transgender communities. Celebrity headliners attract large crowds to the parties and festivals that take place all over the city. The Montreal Pride Parade takes place on the last day of Pride. It's a procession that lasts over an hour, ending with a moment of silence to remember lives lost and loved.
