Not Worth The Price

I'm sure this place has great performers and all, but I wouldn't know. We got in the door payed a 10 dollar cover, then you MUST check your coat for another 4 dollars. Thanks but no thanks. I rather spend money on alcohol not cover

Very Talented Performers

The performers here are top notch.. Not your typical drag performances! Great crowd... The drinks are a bit pricey, though. Although most of the songs that are performed are English language songs, most every word the Emcees speak are in French, so if you don't understand French you're up the creek on the jokes. We had a great time anyway...

If drag queens are your thing...

The best nights to see drag queen shows are Tuesday, Friday and Saturday. The rest of the week the place is mostly empty with only a few regulars. Cabaret Mado is owned by a drag queen called Mado Lamotte. She is French-Canadian and when she hosts she speaks in French, which for an Anglophone is specially exasperating on Thursdays (Bingo Nights). Something important to note is that if you arrive in the clothing of the opposite gender you will NOT be charged a cover fee (usually $8 - $12) on show nights!!
