Garde Manger

(3 Ratings)
A refuge from the chilly winds of the St. Lawrence River
Tucked into the oldest part of Montreal, Garde-Manger is known for its seafood platters. Early in the evening the soundtrack at the bar consists of Neil Young and the Grateful Dead, then later switches to clubbier tunes when the younger crowd comes in. Make reservations in advance! Garde-Manger fills up quickly on the weekends.

Apart from the great food, ambience and music...

Intimate place in Old Montreal - reservations a must but if you want fun and great food - this is it. Try the poutine a l'homard (trust me). and to finish the title - the owners and staff are stunningly good-looking.
