Hotel Gouverneur Place Dupuis Montreal

This is not a gay hotel, but it is VERY gay friendly. Given its location, many of the guests are gay. The rooms are nicely furnished and the hotel is very clean. Employees are polite and friendly. The hotel's restaurant is convenient for breakfast (or whatever), but it isn't very exciting. Room prices are excellent. The huge draw for my parnter and me was the location. We could walk out the back door and be at Campus or Stock Bar in minutes. Or we could walk out to one of the hip, reasonably priced restaurants on Rue Ste. Catherine. We would definitely return to the Gouverneur.

Located at Place Dupuis, it is the ideal jumping off spot for Rue St. Catherine debauchery. Mainstream it may be, but as with most places in Montreal, completly gay-neutral, and an excellent value.
