If you enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of a B&B as I do, you'll thoroughly enjoy this one! This was my second trip to Montreal in 8yrs, and have stayed here both times.
Located right at the corner of St. Catherine and Panet, it's right in the heart of everything! Not so large that there are people constantly everywhere, but a nice comfortable amount of rooms split over two floors, so you're not all crammed together.
The atmosphere is homey with communal kitchens and dining areas.
The large living rooms are filled with comfortable couches and benches featuring ceiling to floor windows that afford you a birdseye view of all the action on St. Catherine Street.
The host Jim is a very charming and friendly guy with whom I found myself engaged in conversation to such lengths that it felt as if we'd known each other for years.
I couldn't have been more pleased with my stay.

smack dab in the middle of it all, with a view of it all. Great space, large and airy, with the most hospitable host I've yet to encounter in many years of travel. Simply the best...

We rented the 2nd floor suite and could not have been happier. Perfect location, big comfortable space at a wonderful price. Jim the host is just delightful! Would not change one thing.

Just came back from Montreal and stayed at Belles Vues. This awesome lace is in the heart of gay village with view over main walking area, sky club complex, and 2 minutes walk from all top clubs and bars. Some people would go back to montreal and stay at same place, but I would go back to montreal just to stay in this place.
Owner is extreamly friendly and helping, loaded with tons of good vibes and energy, athmosphere in a place is just amazing, rooms are beautiful and clean. I would recomend this place to everyone including my straight parents.

We are 3 friends from Barcelona. We were in Belles Vues for a week during Divers/Cite (GayPride). The owner was amazing introducing us into the festival and any gay information we needed. Besides that, the place is excellent because is in the heart of the Village. You could walk to any place of interest. We seriously recommend it to everyone who enjoys the gay scene.

Sitting on the pulse of Montreal's village, Auberge Belles Vues is a cute, comfortable, and none-the-less smart place to stay during your romp through Le Village. Owned and managed by the charismatic "Jim" just makes the walls feel warmer and the city that much closer to you. Me and my husman have gone about eight times in the past year, and we will refuse to stay anywhere else.

I have stayed at the Auberge twice now. It is in a great location near to all the bars, clubs etc. Shopping of course is a tradition in MOntreal and that is closeby too. The auberge is clean and quiet in spite of being located above a 24 hour coffee shop. The rooms are clean with Tv and air conditioning. Jim the owner is very helpful with tips on where to go and maximize your time while in Montreal. He has many brochures and maps to help you find your way around town. Breakfast is simple yet adequate; at least it certainly was for me. I look forward to my next visit.

Jim, the owner, is incredibly warm and makes his auberge feel like you're staying with a friend in Montreal. The location is brilliant -- right in the Village, near transit, and walking distance from downtown and great roaming-around streets.

Great place to stay. You couldn't ask for a better location; it's central to everything! Your charming host, Jim, knows the Village and entire city well and can tell you of dozens of places to check out. Without his knowledge, I would have probably missed out on a lot of local treasures.
The rooms are neat and clean and I enjoyed the "come and go as you please" rule. Of course....don't abuse it! Highly recommended.

The breakfast was scarce and included (sometimes) only bread with peanut butter and a few pieces of fruit, sometimes bagels and no cream cheese, sometimes no juice, never much of anything to choose from so to call itself a bed and breakfast is somewhat misleading in my books. Also, if you are going to be a guesthouse that advertises itself as including common areas such as a living room/dining room and kitchen, leave it open when you step out of the guesthouse and dont lock up that area of the house all the time so guests are not able to access their items in the fridge. I felt untrusted most of the time I stayed there and if he doesnt trust his guests enough not lock up all the time perhaps he shouldnt be running a guesthouse. Also, if you are going to do that put a small fridge in everyone's rooms. I thought it was overpriced for what I got.

You cannot fault Auberge Belle Vues. The location is excellent, the rooms are spacious and clean and instantly you are made to feel right at home when you meet the owner. My partner (now husband) have returned many a time to stay at Auberege. You get a real feel for the City as everything is on your doorstep. For the price Auberge charges you get a bargain! We will definately return and spread the word to friends.

Auberge Belles Vues is in a brilliant location for anyone that is on holiday or business. I was on holiday from Sydney and before I left I booked a room over the internet for a weeks stay with my partner. I had a lot of questions as I hadn't been to Montreal before and Jim (owner) was extremely helpful in providing answers to all my questions. Once I arrived the place was exactly what I expected. It was in a great location and in walking distance to lots of tourist destinations, restraunts, pubs and the subway system. I would definitely stay there again as I was made to feel very welcome and the ambiance of Auberge Belles Vues was excellent.
So, what do you say?
