What we say
Comfortable Bed-and-Breakfast in the Heart of the Village
Conveniently located atop the Second Cup Coffee Shop and a stone's throw away from the Beaudry metro. Also within walking distance of Old Montreal.

For a recent trip to Montreal, I relied on Gay Cities for some tips, especially a place to stay. After deciding on a B&B and reading all the wonderful reviews of Auberge Belles Vues, I couldn't imagine staying anywhere else. I was also curious, could it really be as wonderful as touted, it is, it's true. The location, great, accommodations, clean and "comfy," and the host, he's the one with the "most-est," thanks Jim! We'll be back!

We were so happy for our choice; the apartments are clean, comfy and well equiped. A large living room area lets you stretch out, watch TV or surf the internet. Having a fully equiped kitchen is also a big plus.
The neighborhood is peaceful , and full of great retsaurants. The rest of Montreal is just minutes away via the Metro(Subway) line.
And the host?? Jim is the best !
This is an address to recommend !!

My husband and I stayed at Belles Vues last summer. The place could not feel more like home. The rooms are neat and clean and most comfortable. Your host (Jim) is the most amiable fellow with loads of info about whatever you would need, restaurants, places to visit, how to get there etc. We highly recommend this establishment to both gay and straight (gay friendly), and wouldn't stay anywhere else. It really is a home away form home where you truly can relax and be your self. See you in the summer Jim, can't wait.

If you enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of a B&B as I do, you'll thoroughly enjoy this one! This was my second trip to Montreal in 8yrs, and have stayed here both times.
Located right at the corner of St. Catherine and Panet, it's right in the heart of everything! Not so large that there are people constantly everywhere, but a nice comfortable amount of rooms split over two floors, so you're not all crammed together.
The atmosphere is homey with communal kitchens and dining areas.
The large living rooms are filled with comfortable couches and benches featuring ceiling to floor windows that afford you a birdseye view of all the action on St. Catherine Street.
The host Jim is a very charming and friendly guy with whom I found myself engaged in conversation to such lengths that it felt as if we'd known each other for years.
I couldn't have been more pleased with my stay.
