Goth has it’s own top 40 and we’re not dedicated to reproducing static goth culture- there's a whole lot of things wrong with it! Ke$ha is goth as hell, X-Ray Spex, Prince and T.A.T.U.- they’re all goth too!! It’s boring if you stay still. Being a dead fish in the water might b goff but we’re more rainbow fish. ✞ ✞ ✞ ✞ ✞ ✞ ✞ ✞ ✞ ✞ ✞ ✞ ✞ ✞ ✞ ✞ ✞ ✞ Space Policy: this event is ~gay goth~ nite, and is created so we can have a fun dark zone to flap around and look cute and dance!! so like, if you are straight- this isn’t your party- especially if you identify as a straight cis guy!! we aren’t down w policing anyone’s identity just be conscious that maybe this isn’t your party!! plz no culturally appropriative outfits, white people with "goth dreads" and bindis- please don’t wear these, yeah? we also ask that you don’t take pictures of strangers at this event without asking first, and probably ask permission from your friends first too! Especially don’t take videos of other people without asking- I know, people look gr8 but u gotta ask maybe they are a vampire and don’t show up on film! come talk to any of the door people, bartenders or dj’s if anyone’s behaviour is an issue or you need support- we can’t assure a safe space as this event is a public one- but we have your back! ♥ *bat emojis* we will have safer-spaces people so that if problems come up at the party someone is available to provide active listening and hopefully take action. we are still working on how these people will be recognized so check back, and get in touch if you might be able to be a part of this! Accesibility info: Venue is on ground floor. Some parts of bar have a higher floor than others, but there are ramps installed to ascend or descend between these levels. Bathrooms contain wheelchair accessible bathroom stalls, bathrooms will be gender neutral for event. Try not to wear heavily scented products for the health and comfort of others. XO
