It seems like Campus is losing its appeal. Dancers are becoming skinny and more pushy. Saturday's bartenders are arrogant and will try to scam you on what you asked for a drink. If it continues like this, it will become another Ghostown like JP Cabaret. Try Stock Bar instead.

Went to this place once again but the guys still can't dance. A dancer came onto me but come on guys before you chat with a customer have a breath mint. Wow! Another came up to me and he was great, but once I ws finished my 7up I left. Sorry but won't be going back.

OK. 1) Guys here are muscular, buff and masculine and do not know how to dance. You want to see good dancers ? Go to a ballet !2) It is a male dancer bar and like all dancer bar in the world (male or female) the name of the game is "MONEY"... If you show the greens, you'll be pampered and they'll be all over you, if you don't, you'll be ignored on the long run 3) People whine about guys being str8: Get over it ! 95% of male dancers in the village are str8... It is one of the reasons I don't like male dancer bars: I find the scene to be totally fake. But hey ! That's me. Don't fall in love ! Prices are hefty, but again, what do you expect ? If it was for me, they would all get one star... but I'll be fair and give it a 3 for the guys who are attractive, decor and general attitude towards the clientele and because my friends who like those kind of places tend to like it a lot. Bring your dollars....

First time in Montreal - got into town late - decided to go out for "1" drink - I left almost 3 hours later, only due to exhaustion. The dancers AND the staff are hot hot hot!!! I didn't find the dancers pushy at all, but the bar was packed so there was no shortage of patrons looking for privates. The dancers I did talk to were friendly, and there were 2 cocktail waiters and both were attentive and friendly. Looking forward to checking out the other places in town, but I'll def be stopping back in here!

Really picking up

I have been to Campus twice now in the past month and I am impressed with the changes in the boys there. They are much more handsome and built than they used to be. Even in the afternoon there are some great bodies to look at. Also impressed by the attention I get when they sit with me. Just wish they wouldn't run away so fast when I tell them I don't want private time. This is not a great sales technique guys! Spend some time with us anyway. We will be back again to take you to the back. I an truly looking for the day when we get to see two guys on the stage together. That would really improve the club and I think create a lineup at the door!

A must place to go during a trip to Montreal.

It is a great place to see a lot of good looking strippers. Every guy I meet was nice and personable. The stripers make their money from dances and there is no tipping when the striper is on stage. $20 a song is customary. It is worth a trip once during your vacation. NOTE: Please keep in mind this is a strip club. As with ALL strip clubs some shenanigans occur. It is what it is, but keep your wits about you and will have a great time. Some of the complaints on here are common at most strip clubs.

Neither's Better - Just Different

On my first visit to Montreal, I prepped by learning about the two strip clubs - Campus and Stock. I was ready to prefer Stock. I will say this tho. I think the men are a bit more professional and 'hot' at Stock, but I had a hotter time at Campus, if that makes sense. I liken Campus to pre-corporate Vegas and Stock to corporate Vegas. They both do essentially the same thing, tho the vibe is different. Ppl have commented on the relative "sharky-ness" of the dancers trying to get you to go with them for dances. Let's call a spade a spade - both clubs feature sharkyness. I did find that the Stock guys were a bit more .... aggressive. Like not taking the hint or even a flat "no". The Campus guys solicited you, to be sure, but you never got the sense anything was personal. Guys I adored were Ricky, Joshua and Thomas. I had a special time with each of them.

Best of the strip bars for me

I visited for the first time recently and enjoyed three visits despite the fact the guy behind the main bar was not friendly and ignored me most of the time. I sat away from the bar other nights and the wait staff were nice. I love muscle and jock type guys and after 9pm Campus provided lots of them with little down time between performances. I really liked the one guys first shirtless dance then the next guys second naked hardon dance format. The stage is great because you can sit close to the edge and the low level of the stage results in the strippers crotch being right at your eye level.....2" from your face sometimes! I was surprised there was no cover charge which was great. I was surprised it was not more busy on a Thursday, Friday, Saturday night. I like the fact no women are allowed. (only on Sundays) Expect the dancers to come by your chair later and chat about private dances and sometimes share light fondling which is hot. Expect to pay the same price for water or soft drinks and beer, but remember it's the price you pay because there is no cover charge. Guys, why sit stage side if you are going to be talking to your friends or text the whole time while a hot naked guy is shaking it right by your face and you totally ignore him. I think it's better than Stock bar for the above reasons and because Stock has online streaming video and if you sit at the stage you can expect to be also visible online.

Also went here for my Birthday. Not a great place, be also carefull of the dancers. They say one price then they want more money from you. Also where do the clubs get dancers from.? A cracker jack box.? I can dance better than they can. Word of advice stay away. Nowonder people leave after they come in.

Campus has too many scam artists

I used to go to Campus in its heyday in the 90s, but now it's in serious decline. Although they have hired a number of young, good-looking dancers recently, they still have a core group of older dancers. "Ricky" told me he has been dancing there for 19 years, and the years have not been kind. These "veterans" will proposition you not just for private dances ($10 no-touch / $20 full contact), but many will offer to give private dances at the sauna across the street. DON'T DO IT! You will lose your money for sure. Unless you're in a big group that tends to scare away these scam artists, don't bother with Campus. Stock Bar is a better bet if you are alone or in a small group, and the guys are hotter, too.

Happening Place,We were there for Halloween weekend 10/29-11-03,..the dancesrs, can't dance, they had no SEX appeal, and no ass, showed the dicks for about 20 sec, all twink type, the dancers acted as if they didn't want to be there..the place was full but the crowad was bailing out quick..we let after 30 min of boardom! also the was about 20 women there. not going back to this place, .more fun to be had at Oasis baths/sauna,,

The dancers seemed to be not so friendly. Maybe this is just the way strip clubs in Montreal are. Each strip club that we went into were like this. Unlike the US the strippers are there to have fun while making $$. Don't mind spending $$ for fun, but just to look a pretty guy not haveing fun I donb't think so. Maybe the dancers are not gay and don't know how to have fun?!?!

Avoid Stock's and go here. Twinkier guys before 9 and muscle guys after 9. I can get a dance for $10. By the way it is insulting to only do one dance at any of these strip clubs.

I agree that the dances can add up but again if u say i want this many songs they respect that. And for the person who said Scott is hot, I second that. Campus is a block from the other major strip club Stock bar. It's located on the second level. HAs a good mix of guys and never a cover. Moderate/average drink prices. Guys tend to have an attitude that if they spend time talking to you, you owe them a private dance or a tip. Several state that they don't make any money and have to pay the bar $30 to work there so are automatically in the hole. It can get kind of obnoxious because they get harrassing if you just want to watch the stage action. Cabaret seating and bar seating. Open till 3am Be carefule with private shows at any Montreal strip club. The going rate is $10 a song (no contact/open curtain) or $20 a song for contact and closed curtain. Songs tend to be shortend, and iot works out to $5 a minute. I barter with them and try for 3 songs for the price of 2......it's all negotiatiable. If they dont negotiate, tell them the nights early and you'll think about it, chance are they will return and make a deal. Once you get to the room, make sure they don't start right away. They will try to start durring the middle of the song you come in on. Also, ask them to count each song for you. Following these steps will help you avoid an suprises

Having travelled to many countries and seeing many performers, I have to say the Guys at Campus are top notch, polite and non agressive, but make you want them!!! From shy winks and flirty gestures to serious chat and open affection, these guys are either very well trained, or they are picked by an awesome screener. I would not hesitate to recommend this club to any of my friends or associates. I visited purposely in early afternoon and late night with a friend from San Francisco and the atmosphere was always accomadating, polite, genuine care, and of course sexy as hell! My friend said, `if only bars were this sexy in San Francisco`. Private dances were fun, and VERY accomidating for me. Of course we all have our favs. and I have to say there is one that I want to mention, as he stood from the rest to me, and HE WAS HOT!!! A friend and I visiting from San Francisco, were at the Campus having drinks and watching the scene. We were not at all interested in any "lap" dances. In San Francisco i have more hot 20 something year olds. One of the Dancers got very aggressive so we decided to leave. As we got up to leave, the dancer went over to the bar and took lemons from the bar and actually threw them at us.

I went to this place and I accept the invite from one stripper, that I say his name and saw his pictures in the website (http://www.campusmtl.com/MAIN/). I told him that I would pay just for one song and he says ok. We got in and the music was already playing and I asked him. We should wait the next music and He said me that nooooo. He were supposed to control the time. I said to him again that I would pay just one song. He cheat me and at the finished requeried me $40. He threatened me and almost hit me. I paid and left the place immediatly. I tought to call the owner or the police, but I gave up. I will never be in this place again. I dont advice noone to go there. They are trained to get your money easily. Be smart. With this money you can enjoy more in other places.

The best, but not that great...

What makes this place the best is that this is the only gay stripper bar in Montreal which is open Monday to Sunday from 3PM to 3AM. It is the bar that has the biggest roster of dancers, arriving in three shifts, 3PM, 5PM, 9PM. Though the bar is known as a muscle bar, here you will see young hunks, some twinks, and also old muscle. There is only cover charge on Sundays, for ladies' nights. The crowd is an older crowd, they are all for the dancers, so it's NOT a cruising bar. The type and quality of dancers varies. The smaller guys are only allowed to arrive at 3PM or 5PM, with most arriving early. After 9PM many of these are gone home and the bigger/older guys start arriving. Early in the week you won't see that many dancers, only those that really need money. Ironically, the best day to go here is Sunday night, that is if you don't mind the women hollering. The (straight) dancers that choose to come that day are all ga-ga over the ladies, so nobody will hustle you for dance$ in the back...

I have been visiting Montreal for six years and have very much enjoyed every visit. The highlight of each trip is Campus -- always full of hot men doing great things on stage. Friendly dancers who want to do a private dance in the booths or back at your hotel. My only objection is the skyrocketing prices for private dances. Just a few years ago, it was $6 per dance; now it is $20. Each dance is about three minutes indicated by the dj who turns down the volume of the song. Also be clear about the number of dances that you are willing to pay BEFORE you go to the booth. One of my friends was recently charged $200 for the private dance.

Most of the boys like talking with you and they know exactly how to approach you in a polite way so that you don't feel like being at a butchery choosing the meat for dinner hehehehe... I am a Montreal-area resident and must say that the Campus is the best gay strip club in Montreal. The dancers are hot: 75% of them are muscular and hung, which is my type. Although 20$ per dance is expensive, it worths it since they won't mind you to do more than touching them ... The doorman Stephane, the beefy blond shy guy, as is hot as hell even if he doesn't take off his clothes there! What I don't like about strip clubs in general is that there are too much old men, some even with walking sticks, coming there and fondling with the younger dancers, which creeps me out a little bit. I may sound agist, but that's who I feel! Also, you cannot stay and enjoy the boys without drinking something otherwise they might kick you out! That's suck but a business is a business! hehe

I have been to Campus twice-once last week on my visit from Philadelphia.Campus has mostly only French Canadian dancers and a couple of blacks.On the streets I saw many very good-looking Arbic men,very good-looking Pakistani and East Indians.Many of the dancers are very aggressive,though a few are good-looking.I would like to see dancers from other races in much larger numbers.

Hey, I go very ofter to Campus. The bar is great, dancers are hot, sexy and I always have a great time. You need to know, that the dance is per song playing. Dancer always start in the begining of the song and finish at the end. 10 $ is for a dance without touching. 20 $ is for a dance with touching. If you don't feel like talking to the dancer, you tell him and he'll leave. If you don't wanna take a dance, then try to avoid talking to them.. if you want to take a dance, then you can speak with him before the dance.. usually he'll ask you where r u from, you can ask him for his age, if he's str8, bi or gay etc... Usually, people that come there are horny, like I am.. so I hook up always with some visitor to the bar.. they r mostly older people, like in every streaptease bar,.. but I always find someone in my age group (20s)

I touched a dancer's chest which happens all the time but this time the dancer wanted me to take him in the back. When I said maybe later he took my glasses (without which I am blind) and wouldn't give them back if I didn't give him $6.00. I was panicking and found six bucks and left the club quickly with my glasses! I still tremble when I think about it!! AVOID THIS PLACE!!

I was in Montreal Campus and I ran into a stripper that kept soliciting me and asking me for a private dance, finally I agreed on 2 songs @ $20.00 each and when we went to the back, by almost the end of the 1st song he told me I had bad breath. I couldn't beleive it, I always take care of myself, he was just trying to scam me because he said he will still charge me for both songs, so I made him finish before I paid. He kept saying to me he's not a whore, and I just laughed and thought "Sure you're not"

Campus is a nice bar, however, the price for private dancers is outrageous. If you're going to charge these kind of prices, then at least play longer songs. Has inflation hit the 100% mark in the last few years when this price increase too place. I doubt that... Confused here.

There is a great variety of dancers at Campus. Definitely something for every taste. The night dancers tend to be beefier than the day dancers, if that helps you to pick the time that is appropriate for you. Campus has a ladies' night on Sunday (from 9 PM to 3 AM), so I prefer to stay away then. Note: before you agree to a private dance, be sure to talk to the dancer about what is permissible when you get in the back.

What I like about Campus is that the bar has long opening hours-everyday it is open from 3 in the afternoon to 3 in themorning.What I loved this time was that 60% of the dancers I saw this time had uncut cocks.I am from Detroit,and love uncut cocks.But the dancers are mostly all white--I saw two Latinos.Why does Campus hire very few nonwhite dancers,other than a couple of Latinos?I saw a lot of good-looking ethnic men on the streets in the gay village this time.

I will be back in Montreal 6/14 to 6/17 and am really looking forward to being back at the Campus. I have found that the guys will do anything to make the money. I have had some really good times back in the back rooms and hope to again this weekend. If the dancer is tall and slim and uncut, I will definitely get to know you this weekend. This place has always been a good place for me. I have been to Montreal about 6 times now and would have to say that this is my favorite place.

Been to the Campus many time and NEVER had a really bad experience. $10.00 a song BUT no fondling their package. For $20.00 I've fondled, kissed and licked the package but no oral sex. It was great....I am a regular now and a few of the guys treat me extra special. If a dance is annoying me I tell them I'm not interested. Campus has some sexy dancers for sure,but during my last visit I saw only one-third of Campus dancers with an erection during their nude dance on stage.In contrast, 75% of dancers we saw at Stock had an erection when stripping naked on stage. My friend and I did not give any Campus dancer a lap dance. The second-last time my friend got charged 150$ for a 15-minute lap dance.For that price,I could have a gorgeous male escort in my hotel room for one hour. I would rather see average-looking dancers at Campus who do not cheat you during lap dances than muscular dancers who want to cheat you.Once a dancer cheats me in a lap dance,I go to that club much less often or never.

Campus often has a number of very good-looking dancers,but they do not often have enough strippers.If I go in the evening to any of them,sometimes there is a 5 or 10-minute gap between each dancer appearing on stage.In the mean time the stage is empty.Often,there are not even enough other clients to chat with.Hence,I and many others get up and walk out.Montreal gay club strip club owners seem to want to often keep the stage empty rather than hire the stripper of the wrong race or age or a stripper that does not give them an erection. Also,in Montreal,male strippers in gay strip clubs make all their money from tips and private lap dances or from doing nude modeling and escorting.Strip club owners and managers do not pay most strippers any salary.Strippers even buy their own drinks. Yet,young men in the gay village who go to strip clubs to find workers as strippers are rejected often saying they do not need more strippers or that that they have too many strippers.Why?They are killing their business slowly. And Montreal is only 50% French.If the bar managers were smart,they would hire more strippers and strippers of all races.But some of the managers have never lived outside Quebec and lack business sense

The men are hot and great to look at. But beware, private dances are $10 per song played by the DJ. Don't let the dancer scam you into $20 per song. Pay attention to how many songs are played. No need to tip if they just hang out with you at the bar, unless you encourage them. If you don't want them to hang out with you, simply act indifferent. They'll find someone else. You'll have a good time there if you know what goes on beforehand. The dancers can spot a sucker from a mile away.

this is stripper/hustler bar. If you sit at the bar, you are asking to be approached by a stripper. In evetn yo have any length of conversaton with them, though you tell them you are not interested, they hang around trying to get you aroused, and then expect a tip? The men here are the hottest around. black, white, latin, cuban, etc

Be careful of the dancers. My first time visit they advised me the dances were $20. They "forget" to tell you it's $20 per song and they keep dancing. My 15 minute lapdance cost $120. It was a slow night, and 4 different dancers told me $20/dance. It was difficult to watch the show on stage as one dancer after another was soliciting for the lap dance.

Expensive Lap Dances!

The last time at Campus a bought a lap dance and went back into one of the cubbies with the stripper. I asked how much, and he said $10 or $20. Turns out, it's $10 or $20 per song played on the dance floor. And, like, who's paying attention to that when you're groping a naked hot guy? He offers to come for me. How much? $100. I laugh and say, I don't have $100. He says, How are you going to pay me, because you already owe me $100". It was not pretty. I gave him $40, we left the bar and he followed us down the street, and kicked me in the butt before he gave up. Yo!

Campus has always been a great club. I used to go there a lot in the '90s....I hear it's still as good as ever. Frederick who used to dance there was the most beautiful guy I've ever seen.

My Favorite Club in Montreal

I love this club. I have been to Montreal 3 times over the past 8 months. Each time I visit I go to the club at least 3 times. I was suprised to have the dancers remember me each time I visit. The dancers are muscular and sexy. They come up to you for dances more often than other bars but they are okay if you say no. You won't have to say no too often though since they have all different types of muscular men. The club is also the perfect size. You can sit near the stage or further back. The service is great. The waiters keep the club clean. I will always stop at Campus when I visit Montreal.
