Good mix of dancers/not too pushy

Smaller intimate bar/strip club with a wide mix of dancers from twink to muscle man and in between. Most are laxed and will chat for a good amount of time before offering a lap dance. They're not as pushy like Stock and Campus, more relaxed guys that will converse more. No cover charge, open till 3am but strippers leave off early if its slow. Closed Mondays. Be carefule with private shows at any Montreal strip club. The going rate is $10 a song (no contact/open curtain) or $20 a song for contact and closed curtain. Songs tend to be shortend, and iot works out to $5 a minute. I barter with them and try for 3 songs for the price of 2......it's all negotiatiable. If they dont negotiate, tell them the nights early and you'll think about it, chance are they will return and make a deal. Once you get to the room, make sure they don't start right away. They will try to start durring the middle of the song you come in on. Also, ask them to count each song for you. Following these steps will help you avoid an suprises

There and gone ...

Visiting JPs this past week we found it quite in need of a boost!!! On entering there was no hosting, not welcome, or even a nod to recognize we had come to be a patron. Staying a short time and receiving no hospitality we left and moved on to Campus where they were soooo accomidating ... the Canadians we all have heard about. Will return again perhaps in the Summer to Montreal, and perhaps there will be a welcoming committee or at least a dancer who is a bit friendly at JPs, but until then best wishes for your establishment.

The concept of JP's is akward. It's a place where gay man are supposed to bring 'girl' friends. Problem is, I prefer to be with a boy and be with people like me. I'm not saying that women shouldn't be allowed, but there are better bars for that (Mado, Sky). Also the dancers are more discrete on stage when in front of women. The place is nice but kind of deserted. Dancers are not even gay, it doesn't feel same ambiance than before. I prefer the old times of Adonnis, I feel more welcomed and didn't cost me 3 extra dollars.

This place has been nicely redecorated. It's not as dark as the old Adonis. On the down side it has not that many dancers and customers; and they are only open from Wednesdays to Sundays. There is a $3 cover charge ALL THE TIME. Most of the time is not worth it.
